   That's not how I want to start my day at all.

     Hey, but at least Spotify-QT is still working!
     I love this app. It's what the Spotify app should have been in the first place (except that it's missing repeat 1)

     I can work around it by either hitting repeat 1 with another player (I have one that can do command line, so that's easy enough), or putting the 1 track in it's own playlist.
     I should remember to make the suggestion to the devs, or maybe it's a bug report.

     I got a CD player that has repeat 1. (and all, and shuffle too).

     @hellomiakoda 1 track in it's own playlist, I done that before for Windows Media player.

     Suggestion sounds like a good idea, if you got the spoons. Sounds like your day is rather distracting and spoon depleting so far.

     @m When you set it up...
     It uses a Spotify daemon. It can't play on it's own. (I'm pretty sure it's done this way so when Spotify changes things, the daemons get fixed and all the other apps work again).
     The preferred one is Spotifyd, but Spotifyd is currently not working due to exactly what I just mentioned.
     LibreSpot is working. So go with LibreSpot for now.

     @m If you have trouble, you can open the official app, minimize it, and use Spotify-qt for it's UI just fine.
     You can also use Spotify-qt without the daemon to play on other Spotify Connect devices. Mine stopped doing that, but I think that's an issue specifically with my set up, as some other discovery type stuff is also suddenly broken for me.
