     That is a malicious antifeature, although such kind of antifeature is typically called "adware".
     
     It's rather ironic that windows is now far worse at playing proprietary games than WINE+DVXK+systemd+Linux.

     @EdBoatConnoisseur GNU coreutils is only one GNU package and I don't see why you would want to remove the best coreutils.
     Glibc is also the best libc, but is also just one package out of 387; https://www.gnu.org/software/
     
     All free software depends on GNU despite the endless efforts to remove the solid GNU/Foundation of freedom.

     @EdBoatConnoisseur GNU software is packed full of features and are quite memory efficient - saying that they're bloated is a huge error considering the state of real bloat.

     @bronze @EdBoatConnoisseur You can compile CPython with LLVM+clang, but a C compiler is not the only dependency of Python.
     
     If you select any nontrivial free software at random and start following dependencies, especially 2 layers deep, you will find lots of GNU libraries.
     
     One example of a (sadly optional) direct python dependency is GNU readline.
