@c3isdn I will not be at the event however would like to try to participate somehow. Might it be possible to reach you from the outside via VoIP or other means of transport?

@zaphodb @c3isdn you can have voice calls and (possibly) fax from the public network via the +49 40 5730830-xxxx SIP trunk. However, this will not work for native ISDN services, and if at all unreliable for [slow] analog modems. You can telnet/ssh into @c3bbs and gopher to @Tunnelchaos

@zaphodb we created the OCTOI (Osmocom Community TDMoIP) network some time ago where you can use ISDN peripherals remotely all year long and connect to hosted services and peers around the globe: https://osmocom.org/projects/octoi/wiki/Community_TDMSS7_Network - you need an E1 capable PBX and an icE1usb at your end, see https://osmocom.org/projects/octoi/wiki/Getting_Started #retronetworking

@LaF0rge Thank you i will certainly poke around there.
Analog modems are available too however if you could make an ISDN service available via public network i would certainly _try_ to make it work just for the heck of it.
I have a DEC brouter90T1 hooked up via serial to a 2620XM that sports several ISDN BRI ports plus a Digitalisierungsbox smart in media gateway mode and two fritzboxen (pyur & o2) that are waiting to get put to use.
