     Now I wonder if this guy is for real or just a Black Ray Epps.
     And whether there are still people capable of sitting on a NY jury who haven’t completely lost their minds or whether they slipped people in on purpose for just this event.

     The jury was deadlocked and then the prosecutor and judge basically openly conspired to run around NY law in dropping that first charge.
     
     That means there was probably just a few souls on that jury, maybe even just one, who said, "I am not going to let an innocent man go to prison just so I can be done with this trial. I am going to do the right thing."
     
     Daniel Penny is a very very lucky man.

     Well it isn't even nullification in this specific case. He literally did not break the law in any reasonable interpenetration of it. This is fighting against those who wish to nullify the law to convict and innocent man.
