  The interesting thing is that it's super light. I've seen people getting under 100mb ram usage with it. We could totally host a mitra instance at the same time.

  I'm not too sure about the "paid posts", but I think having a free and open source means of supporting content creators or developers is a good thing in itself. I would be more positive about it if it supported more than just one cryptocurrency meme though.

  @dushman Extremely easy. I run Debian for the VM, so I just installed the .deb package. Done. Spun up a basic PostgreSQL database, modified the config file to point to it. Then, just configured Nginx to serve it out. That's it. No other dependencies or having to build from source with other build-dependencies. No other steps required. Just installed it, gave it a database, and served it out. That's it. Amazing. @sun @raccoon @tyil

  @tyil I run Mitra. I don't utilize any of the cryptocurrency or premium-subscription-content features or whatever. I just treat it like any other Fediverse software. And, it's fantastic. Really, really great software. Extremely easy to install and maintain. I'd say, personally, that Mitra and Misskey take "S"-tier for me when it comes to Fediverse software. They're my two primary recommendations for people now when asked. @sun @raccoon @dushman

  @sun Yeah, Silverpill is working on some super interesting stuff that goes way above my head and I think he's going to hugely benefit the future of the Fediverse. Would be cool if he had more help, seems like it's just him. Mitra is excellent software, so, from that experience, I am very impressed with the work he does. @raccoon @dushman @tyil
