Zelensky and Netanyahu are too very different people, and Netanyahu is not relevant to talk about Ukraine: he was even one of only a couple world leaders to withhold support in the first year.
Historically speaking, the reason World War II got so out of control was because Hitler was allowed to advance rapidly through multiple countries over the course of several years before an actual united front was presented against him. This is why various outside democracies, NATO and non-NATO, have actively decided to back the Ukrainian government, to keep the fighting isolated to Ukraine and whittle down Putin's military capability. That's brutal, but hardly unreasonable, and encourages peace.
Let's be clear about this: this is a Dictatorship aggressing against a Democracy, and Putin has repeatedly shown he is not interested in cooperation with a global community or the interest of his own people.
