Bring On The Black Friday Apple Deals!!!!
I opened the Apple Store app, and to my surprise, I encountered this screen. Apple Store App Screen (red scribbles are from me) Apple is gearing up for some sweet deals soon, which may involve discounts for Apple accessories (which would make perfect Christmas gifts). I believe Amazon will also offer similar deals, with slightly greater discounts than Apple is willing to offer.

@_elena Actually, it is great for people who may not need or want the latest gadget. Also, some of my friends with younger kids will appreciate this, as they can save money buying an Apple device, without worrying too much if the item is damaged due to the cost.

@_elena The refurbished market is so big in America 🇺🇸 that both Apple & telecom companies participate in it (to a limited degree).
Ironically, my first iPhone ever was the original iPhone albeit refurbished because I could not afford to pay full price for the device (there were no deals back then to make it more affordable).
Apple recently purchased my old iPhone for $400 & are paying me for my old Apple Watch (they will sell both in the refurbished market).

@knud I usually wait years before upgrading, and so do many of my friends and family.
Having items that just work is okay, but if a person works in an industry that heavily utilizes the devices, “just works” is not good enough.
My view of phones 📱, tablets 💻 & watches ⌚ is that of a tool (& tools are usually the gifts I give to family & friends).
This year, due to Trump's pending Tariffs, I decided to save money and send upgradable gifts now rather than pay the premium later.
