     @penguin Not the ones I've seen. The Air was notorious for having the processor heatsink on one side and its fan on the other, disconnected from each other. The case was the heatsink and the fan was an accessory.
     
     Jonny Ive was a disaster for Apple system design and Louis Rossmann can back me up on that.

     The only real problem with linux is distros that are supposed to be normie friendly pushing the newest thing instead of what's stable. Gotta have wayland and pipewire, though X11 and alsa or pulse are far more stable. SMFH.

     @Humpleupagus Agreed. M-series Apple hardware ain't too bad, there's less to get wrong and has seen the return of things like MagSafe chargers and the ability to upgrade components (soldered RAM and storage is worthy of criticism). It works for those who can afford it but is the most expensive way to say you don't care about technology.
