   @vor @locksmithprime @mkranz @johnmark @PJ_Evans @mekkaokereke are you saying the 9 million or whatever who didn’t bother to vote are establishment Democrats or do you think citizens have no duty to vote unless they judge the campaign strategy as crafted by the establishment to be acceptable to their lights? Or merely describing the behavior of whites that have less of a visceral stake in preserving multiracial egalitarian democracy?

     Your dismissive framing of the question is a big part of why they stayed home.🤷🏿♂️

     It's not that they "didn't bother to vote" or "neglected their duty as citizens." It wasn't just the framing of the campaign. It was what they believed the administration would do once in power.

     They made a conscious choice to refuse to support an administration that they believe would have exposed them to fascism while protecting everyone else from it.
