@sim @cell when you're depressed you sleep all day every day, and don't feel better while your life falls apart

@cell Sometimes you need to rest or sleep for a day to reset your mind and stress levels. I had one of those days and I feel better for it.

@cell @sim this is not advice, just how it happened for me:
1. move away from seasons to a place with heat and tons of light
2. burned through all my savings to avoid work while I tried to find a solution
3. rapid experimentation with different pharmaceuticals until I found the combination that worked
4. rejoined workforce easily because of my enterprise java experience

@sun @cell @sim sometimes it helps to sleep all day when you try to let go of all the worries and stress. I stopped caring about anything for a month and just played games all day and slept aaaalll month not worrying about a single thing. it kinda helped definitely. I was very pissed about something and this was pretty relaxing. you just stop worrying that you do nothing, you just do it intentionally

@cell @sim every person is different of course and I don't know the specific thing or things that may be hurting you subtly but significantly. my heart breaks for you and I pray you find a solution soon.

@why @cell @sun Haha. Don't worry about this, you can try again tomorrow! I still like to check in. I use my phone to keep in touch with family which is nice. Sometimes you need that too.

@cell @sim @sun pick a time to wake up every day for the rest of your life, no exceptions. go for something like 6:30 or 7. too much morning free time? work out, clean, practice an instrument, or take a walk. just dont use that time to look at phone (oops im doing that now oh well its over im cooked)
