   I don't mind seeing long posts from others at all, but when I make a longboi and it gets boosted a lot then it makes my notifications a HOT LONG MESS and makes me wish I'd CW'd it

     @ifixcoinops @alice don't long posts get auto CW'd or collapsed behind a 'read more' on most fedi software?

     (I'll have to check but GTS definitely does this.)

     I have that off on the web interface but on on mobile.

     (I continue to be very open in that I'm really here for a LiveJournal replacement, rather than a Twitter alternative, so what I'm looking for in post length is similarly different that what a lot? of people are after.)

     @HauntedOwlbear @ifixcoinops @alice i turned auto collapsing "long" posts off because i extremely disagree with what it thinks is a long post
