The context of prohibitions on cannibalism and drinking blood would've been known to Old Testament Religion practitioners— the law specifically prohibited consuming blood because it was associated with pagan worship (also why you don't eat strangled animals). Without understanding through extrabiblical sources, your explanation is correct. I believe the average OTR practitioner understood the reason for not consuming blood per their priests/rabbis. I think cannibalism is mentioned because it's unclean and unsafe, but also pagan ritualism.

Ok you have picked one passage dude. Compare it to the other. He clearly did not give them flesh, he gave them bread and wine just like it said he did. What they ate was a symbolic representation of his flesh and blood, not literal.
I challenge you to find me one just ONE other time in the entire Bible where God requires a believe to eat human flesh and blood for passover. Just one.
If you do then we have a real problem because 1.that is cannibalism and 2. God strictly forbade eating of blood.

No, He gave them bread, then said "This is my Body", signifying it to have become His Flesh. He foreshadows the Last Supper in Him rebuking the Pharisees for not wanting to eat His Body and drink His Blood. NOWHERE does He try to explain the merely symbolic meaning of this like He did with His other allegories or parables.
God forbade is many a things, and cannibalism is also forbidden still. The Eucharist is inexplainable why we can partake in it. However He is verily there. The first Christians believed in it, died for it even.

We are talking heterodoxy in beliefs, or at least I am. Salvation is not something that is determined by what Church you attend but rather by Christ declaring "You belong to me" when we stand before God.

only other definition of marriage given other than ”between a man and woman” is when a man leaves his parents and cleaves unto his wife and they become one flesh
Jesus reaffirms this last definition and if He is reaffirming Genesis on marriage chances are the rest of Genesis on marriage counts too, none of it conflicts
all mentions of ”fornication” are in English translations and to the best of my knowledge the Hebrew and Greek best translates to sexual immorality, and the definition of fornication has actually changed in the English language in recent years to its current meaning
10 commandments talks about adultery not ”premarital sex” (no such thing), and in Deuteronomy (I‘m pretty sure, it’s one of the Mosaic books at least) talks about how if a man and woman have sex they should be considered married and not depart from one another

Look I'm not trying to defend you AT ALL here. However what you did was uncommon practice in Medieval Europe. The holy sacrament of marriage is given not by a priest but by the man and woman to each other. This is how some people clandestinely married back then. However it causes a lot of scandal (like with you now, in this thread) and because witnesses cannot testify and it's not noted for by the Church has always been disavowed and quickly forbidden altogether.
So, if you both honestly gave each other vows, you are already married, you cannot even marry again this way. However money should never be an issue since a church can never ask for money for a marriage ceremony. Rings are also purely optional, just buy a cheap copper one or a regular gold one. You should repent, talk to a serious traditional priest, explain your situation, then clear it out.
