     @sun I guess I'm a midwit then as it never fulfilled its original purpose where you could use it as a replacement for a CC or at least Western Union. The fees alone make that unreasonable and before you say 'lightning node' why not use another shitcoin instead of shoe-horning that solution onto Bitcoin?

     @jeffcliff @sun I'm speaking strictly transaction fees and that should have been obvious. Please enlighten me, how much would it cost to wire $100 or even $1000 and what would that cost me over the Bitcoin network? We both know you'll hand wave instead of answer because you're some sort of zealot.

     FUD. Western union has seen significant competition from bitcoin.
     And I'm on course to be paying ~1,000$ on credit card fees this year, more than all the bitcoin fees i've paid put together, and probably will ever pay. Switching *any* of my bills to bitcoin from credit card would save me $$$

     @HoneyBadgerSupreme @jeffcliff to be fair though if I use Zelle or Cashapp the fee is way lower and very fast.
