Traditional "pick up and play" console gaming where you just insert a disk or cartridge and never connect the device to the internet for patches or DLC or other bullshit just died after that.
     
     The newest console I own is a PS3 and it exclusively gets used a Bluray player. My PS2 and GameCube still actually get used for playing games from time to time.

     I remember 6 to 8 years ago or so when games for these consoles were dirt cheap bargain bin shit and I kinda already own all the games I ever want to play on these platforms now so whatever.

     first of all, having a 5" slot is mandatory for me, i mean look at my photo - it's on the bottom but it's there and there's two of them (one comes with a free drawer thingy, yay) i just don't buy cases without 5" slots

     (And I hoard random tech so much I have an external 5" box… for SCSI but still)

     ...which i filled with official addon for card reader, 2 3.x usbs and a m.2 sata....
     
     
     but only because i have external ODD!!!..
