     It's totally accurate. The odds that anyone actually reads your resume are practically nil. Even before they decided to just throw an AI at it, I'd interview and people would ask if I'd ever done $x and how long and I'd say "I've been doing that for ten years. It's at the top of my resume." So now they send it to a bot and this juices the numbers (so that unemployed people versus job openings look more favorable): they can say they looked for US candidates for six months and didn't get any, so they don't take the penalty for outsourcing it to Hyderabad.

     recruiters (the scum of the earth and can be justifiably be killed) will tell you to add specific keywords to your resume. I refuse to let any recruiter ever edit my CV. It really helps filter out the shit jobs. Just say no to recruiters.

     @sickburnbro @p @Jewpacabra Root cause of why is "unknown" but I have a hunch it's related to control. Every ESG cretura thrown into the machine is like adding planned obsolescence into a company. Faster turnover rate of the capital cycle means faster "progress" as new companies meet the niches created by failures, and they hope to shape and invest heavily in that "progress".

     @p @Jewpacabra @sickburnbro I think what they're doing is functionally bad AND evil, so I don't take their press releases at face value. Interesting and possibly related, they've been at the forefront of AI and were very hushed about it. They have some interesting tech that pulls dozens of reports and gives quantitative ratings on things and throws out/highlights outliers where needed. It's pretty clever, and maybe it's why they don't care about things failing. Overly trusting of AI or something.

     This feels like an excuse for laziness; I said "read it", not "take it at face value".

     There is a minimum IQ required for dealing with computers, and there's another threshold for advancing the state of the art and doing original research. So part of that is the same reason there are a lot of Jewish physicists. The other half is motivation.
     
     The motivation is due to a pervasive belief in the obsolescence of humans, the currently popular school of thought among the elitists. If you look only at Jews, you're going to miss half the picture and get a lot of false alarms; race is a heuristic at best. I say it's a bad heuristic, but that's a value judgment.
     
     One percent of the population is psychopaths, this is independent of IQ, it's independent of race; some genetic groups have higher IQ. A low-IQ psychopath gets institutionalized for bashing his parents' heads in, a high-IQ psychopath ends up like Rockefellers and Carnegies and Rothschilds.

     It's deeply taboo, and some of the biggest groups of system-skeptical people in America (e.g. "right wing" evangelicals) have circuit breakers in their ideologies around the subject. Nothing novel, but interesting to me.

     @sickburnbro This is why when I am submitting resume's I always do my best to use as many words from the job posting as possible. I figure if they're automating the process they will be looking for words in the resume that match up with the posting. The strategy has served me well so far.

     Though it won't help with stupidity like we see in the OP.
