It's totally accurate. The odds that anyone actually reads your resume are practically nil. Even before they decided to just throw an AI at it, I'd interview and people would ask if I'd ever done $x and how long and I'd say "I've been doing that for ten years. It's at the top of my resume." So now they send it to a bot and this juices the numbers (so that unemployed people versus job openings look more favorable): they can say they looked for US candidates for six months and didn't get any, so they don't take the penalty for outsourcing it to Hyderabad.
