    #actuallyautistic so y’all ever been so fricken out of spoons that you are so so so hungry, cause you didn’t eat all day and now you are too exhausted to get up and get food, but you are so hungry but you are so tired. Ack I think I am frozen ha ha. Work sucks cause narcissistic employees suck. Fuckin ruins all the fun of playing with accounting data. Oh so did I tell you I am FREAKING HUNGRY. But I am too tired to move. Gotta love being AuDHD. The struggle is REAL:blobcatdead:

      So many times, this. But, this is also where cereal comes into its own. Sometimes it's all I can do, but at least it means I've eaten.

      @pathfinder @littlescraps Having low-effort, reasonably-nutritious food around is key.

      @pathfinder @littlescraps can't count the days having something like cereal has saved me. Always try to have granola and muesli on hand.

      @Aerliss @pathfinder @littlescraps I have crispbread with flavored filling that can stay good in the fridge for a long time, it's brilliant. I get mine from IKEA.

      @pathfinder @littlescraps toast. Sometimes I just have toast and peanut butter.

      But then there are days when I can't even countenance standing for a few minutes to wait for the toaster to ping. And I can't stand toast that's gone cold before you put the butter on, so sitting down for a bit isn't an option.

      One of the reasons I've applied for disability benefit is that on days like that I can order takeaway without working out what I have to not buy that month to afford it.

      @pathfinder @littlescraps Yeah, I have various longevities of food around, from fruit that needs to be eaten within days, to the crispbread sandwiches that can be good in the fridge for months.

      @clacke @littlescraps
      Indeed, although long term storage is often the problem
