I did a little test, a like from mitra (my user in a Mitra site) in a my comment in diversispiritus and still my site is in coma ... About 20 minutes now. Using my clone in this comment...
Só just one like can put my site in a limbo for x minutes. 🧐
@giacelvecio@streams My current account is not nomadic (it has DID-based identity proofs - that's a different thing). I use another account for testing nomadic AP, @nomad , but it is still very limited.
The implementation of nomadic ActivityPub in Mitra is incomplete and is only available to developers who want to experiment with the protocol (one needs to use a special ActivityPub client for that).
This reminds me... @silverpill's Mitra account is already compatible with nomadic ActivityPub. His posts have a DID already. This means that existing Mitra accounts are switched over to nomadic ActivityPub.
But (streams) channels like yours that were created on accounts registered before 24.07.20 are still in the old, pre-nomadic mode.
Could there be interference here between (streams) without nomadic AP and Mitra with nomadic AP? Could it be that (streams) has problems with "nomadic" AP actors trying to interact with "pre-nomadic" (streams) channels?
"Nomadic" (streams) to "pre-nomadic" (streams) shouldn't be that much of a problem unless I've just managed to freeze your instance with my dislike and my comment.
@jupiter_rowland Is federation working between our servers? Activity delivery errors are gone, but I wonder if you're seeing my reply, like and connection request.
@jupiter_rowland I can't see the reply from your nomadic account, but I figured out what's going on. Activities coming from your nomadic account are not portable and that causes authentication error on my end. I'll report this to the streams repo
