Pleroma-tan (kirby@lab.nyanide.com)'s status on Thursday, 15-Aug-2024 06:56:06 JST Pleroma-tan @IlDuWuce @graf @Hoss ipv4 is the traditional 4 octet number address computers have that you see in this human readable form: 127.0.0.1
IPv6 is a newer longer address that uses hexadecimal numbers instead of octal numbers, I think 16 of them in the address: 2001:0db8:0000:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334
IPv6 is able to be shortened I think, but it's still ugly to see and remember lol
Not sure if I explained it adequately..In conversation permalink -

Hoss Delgado (hoss@shitpost.cloud)'s status on Thursday, 15-Aug-2024 07:23:39 JST Hoss Delgado IPv4's address space is completely used up and this is interfering with Klaus Schwab's desire to put more shoddily secured smart appliances on the open Internet that can be used to DDoS forums talking about the Great Reset. A similar bug probably exists in the IPv4 stack - its seems likely that nobody except the glowies has found it yet mind you.In conversation permalink -

The glowers like building up a vast collection of exploits and usually utilize the lowest-value one that works and tend to avoid the risk of burning their most valuable ones.In conversation permalink -
