I do follow the Marxist understanding of things. And I am sure in the coming decades socialist, workers revolutions will come. Fediverse seems exactly what a socialist society would want for their social media.

@dansup there unfortunately are some physics limitations for interplanetary internet. Light travelling from Earth to the Moon takes about a second, which as far as we know is the speed limit of the universe. That means at minimum there is about a second of delay for all internet traffic between Earth and the Moon. For Mars, it's about 3 minutes with the same limitation. While most of the time this probably wouldn't be an issue, it could pose problems for applications that require real-time communication with minimal latency, such as online games and video calls.

Hate to rain on that thought, though... "Collapsing an entangled pair occurs instantaneously but can never be used to transmit information faster than light."

Can quantum entanglement travel faster than the speed of light?
Recently I was watching a video on quantum computing where the narrators describe that quantum entanglement information travels faster than light! Is it really possible for anything to move faster ...
