     I have no interest in making a knock-off 40k work with its dystopian setting, something more positive with a sense of beauty is better. Most of the artfags and writerspergs here would likely agree with this sentiment.

     @CatLord @Curvin That's to say it hasn't happened yet? We'll see if they can hold that.
     
     I am highly interested in get_or_creating something that can serve as a replacement for 40k. There's so much there that's worth preserving but GW do not deserve to continue holding it, I want something I can point at and say "this will scratch your futuristic grimdark itch, stop giving GW your attention".
     But I wonder if it's an impossible task: Anything sufficiently close may necessarily be too close to avoid a lawsuit.
