    Extremely online people think that others must feel the same way they do about wokeness and culture, and it’ll be reflected in the next election, but they don’t understand that people are just barely hanging on and won’t risk jeopardizing what little they have to adopt niche right wing politics.

      @PraxisOfEvil Also in many of the swing states, the GOP instead of having a palatable platform on the abortion question instead stuck to a almost sharia law position that has alienated them with all women and most thinking nonpartisan men. It cost them in 2022 and the price will be higher this cycle.

      @DemonSixOne @PraxisOfEvil >all women
      I don't think that's true. The sensible position is a relative term anyway. I thought a reasonable compromise was the old Democrat position of "rare and legal", but we know that isn't reality. I won't make it a hill to die on in the broader sense of politics, but I appreciate the red meat thrown my way.

      @PraxisOfEvil Worse, they don't grasp how pervasive the DEI/ESG has become as an everyday mindset for the average working class person.

      @DemonSixOne Even if they get replaced by a jeet at work they still won't let themselves believe diversity was to blame, prog propaganda plays a part but lousy RW messaging does as well.

      @BowsacNoodle @PraxisOfEvil In "purple" states where the GOP holds narrow majority control, instead of accepting "limited" and removing the topic from the election cycle, doubled down on "never" and then wondered why they lost seats in suburban districts. Then continued to be boggled when "unlimited" got forced on them by various means.

      @DemonSixOne @PraxisOfEvil Understand that I'm not arguing this from morality, although I am personally against abortion, but from the practicality aspect. I don't even disagree with your assessment, but history has shown that you cannot compromise or give an inch to "libtards" without them demanding a mile. Trump's stated opinion of making it a state issue is actually the traditional "conservative" mindset, but the practical effects are exactly as was mentioned by you and others ITT— consolidated shitlib power. It's frustrating to watch and it's one of the factors that made me get off the GOP train.
