   Just texted with my super pessimistic kid who now actually has hope for the future. They said young people are “extremely animated” and that there would be "massive turnout if the momentum keeps up." They said they had great hopes for down ballot candidates. The other twin said he’d never been politically optimistic in his adulthood before. They’re 29.

     TL;DR, the best strategy is to vote in every primary and every election, always picking the candidate who most aligns with your own needs/hopes/desires.

     @Jaden3 @StillIRise1963 @Callalily @rejinl Biden definitely wasn’t doing it for me I wasn’t gonna vote for him or encourage my friends to vote for him but if Kamala speaks out against Israel and listens and acts on progressive issues and low income issues and racial issues for the better she might win my vote and I might advocate to vote for her.personally want 2 wait & see what she campaigns on

     This is so exciting to see. I'm happy that more young people are encouraged by Kamala Harris. We need everyone we can to vote blue💙. She's a wonderful candidate.

     @StillIRise1963 My 22 year old is very engaged as well. I'm very online, but I learned about Biden dropping out through him, & we've had a long discussion about Harris' chances etc.

     Jaden! I love seeing you here, and being excited to vote.

     Just so you know, I'm an old white dude, and I remember leaving the polling station in 2008 and thinking "I just got to vote for the first Black President!". (My "I just got to vote for the first woman President" in 2016 didn't go as well 😬.)

     So I am sooooo looking forward to casting this vote. Two-for-one!
