@Victor_Emmanuel@AngryWraith 10%+ for Oregon Trail and 25+% for Trail Of Tears. I bet Oregon Trail is higher than reported because of how many people probably just gave it a go unknown to anyone and never made it.
@Victor_Emmanuel@AngryWraith They weren't prepared. Oregon trail people were stocked up and most tried to have what they needed, likely traveling with a group of others by wagon who could swap parts and cover for each other's lacks. Trail of tears was Indians already isolated (largely by mutual choice I think), time of year, etc. If it hasn't been such a hurried march they'd have likely done better.
@BowsacNoodle@Victor_Emmanuel@AngryWraith My tribe had been in the same area for a long, long time, couple thousand years by way of modern dating, much longer than that by way of oral history dating. Some tribes were nomads, but thd trail of tears tribes (look up the "five tribes" if you're curious) were settled all over the south. They were not prepared with goods for that kind of march. Most were not slave holders, just as withany body living in the south, but the wealthy Choctaw and Cherokee were for sure, the landowners had been farmers for awhile.
@adequate@Victor_Emmanuel@AngryWraith I maintain my belief that the Native Americans are a good warning of what ZOG wants to do to us White folks. It's a shame that we couldn't carve them out their own other area, breed them into the fold, drive them off, or whatever else because it's sad to see the tribes reduced to what they are today.
