You may not like it, may not want to admit it, but your Country, no matter how corrupted it currently is, made You. An American will feel the best in America, its still his home. I moved around trough all of Eastern and Nothern Germany and honestly, Saxony wasn't good for Me, because these People already were to different from me for me to connect with them culturally. Moving to an entirely different country will not suddenly make you happy.

Well I will be honest and say that Idaho has grown on me. And comparing it to SA is kind of silly. We are probably one of the nicest and well to do states in the union. Its just so expensive and suburban here and I long to see the old world and the swiss valleys and castles...

old people loving to talk about their life to strangers probably has done more good to society than we can imagine.

remember that it's expensive, and we are going through a housing crisis rn so rent WILL fucking demolish you financially speaking.
you get paid twice and pay twice for everything in Switzerland.
if they have local festivals and the like just take a visit, they like seeing new faces and hearing new stories, you will stick out like a sore thumb just existing there and people will initiate convos with you, warning if you look young you WILL have old people dropping their life stories on you.
will take a bit to acclimate to the social environment, especially if you are an introverted city boy lol, depending where get used to exchanging good mornings with every person you come across in the morning commute.
living smack dab in the middle of the city is probably hell, i just always lived outside of the city but 15-30 minutes away from the center.
if by based you mean politically agreeing with you then you might find a few people every now and then who agree with you, maybe even who agree on the more extremer topics, but remember white women be white women wherever you go lol.
