> . the likelyhood of it occuring in nature is 1 in a billion.
Also almost certainly bullshit, but even if so -- there are 8 billion people interacting with millions of bats yearly. a 1-in-1-billion event is exactly the sort of thing that can be expected multiple times a year given our exposure level
@jeffcliff@Angie_rasmussen@Jonaschuzzlewit@koropokkur@Da_Goyim_Know@brokeassredneck Why do you cling to the belief that it's natural? They had mice with human lung tissue on their backs being used to test MERS and SARS. Why wouldn't they also test other stuff? Even if it was wild caught, it likely still lab leaked and wouldn't have happened if not for US/China researchers.
i linked the hearing, jeff. its time stamped for the part where the scientist, not a politician, explains that it is definitely a man-made virus. the likelyhood of it occuring in nature is 1 in a billion.
covid was the bio-weapon, jeff. the vax was their way to infect the fearful who either had natural immunity or werent in contact with those who were already infected.
@koropokkur@Angie_rasmussen@Jonaschuzzlewit@Da_Goyim_Know@brokeassredneck The vax doesn't "infect" anyone, and the brave got it before anyone else. Covid is only a "bioweapon" in the sense that you can use it as a weapon if you intentionally infect people with it (as some people do). How many waves of this are we going to have before you start acknowledging "natural immunity" isn't happening?
And a reminder for those who weren't there korop was arguing earlier that it had to be a bioweapon because there was a patent (for another type of coronavirus). He has no idea what even would be evidence of covid being a bioweapon, and has been wrong over and over and over about this, every time the right-wing disinformation machine gives him a scrap of something that might look like it could be meaningful to him
Or covid was intended to be worse than it turned out to be (can’t control what happens to a virus in nature) and the vaccine was going to be the 2 in the 1-2 punch to kill lots more people.
Covid is not "bullshit" and the vaccine is not a bioweapon. What's "fucked" is you think I give one single fuck about what "Da_Goyim_Know" thinks given he probably hasn't even read @Angie_rasmussen 's report on the origins of covid, or any of the 400,000 NIH papers on covid, or any of the millions of studies outside of the NIH on covid by this point.
vax for a bio-weapon they created doesnt sound like a good deal at all. sounds like they poisoned and murdered a few million and then pushed a vax for profit and to infect the fearful.
@jeffcliff@koropokkur i personally never cared where it came from .. just kinda knew "the vax" was a very bad deal.. feel bad for those that got it , kinda... but im just a low IQ mechanic , and figured it out
Because that is what the evidence actually says happened. A lot of evidence at this point. Evidence that no one on the lableak side has had a sensible answer for.
> Why wouldn't they also test other stuff?
Maybe it was, doesn't mean covid was involved.
> f? Even if it was wild caught, it likely still lab leaked and wouldn't have happened if not for US/China researchers.
This is a good example of why it's important to get this right.
Because it *did* happen without the researchers. And it could happen again tomorrow, because *nothing has changed*. There's still basically no biosafety in meat markets in china. Still bats with viruses that can cause epidemics. Still a dysfunctional global public health system. The problems that caused the pandemic are still operant. And every bit of effort we put into security in already pretty secure BSL-2/3/4 labs outside of tightening up to actually have labs abide by existing rules and a little more transparency is probably effort we could be using to actually solve the problem that caused the pandemic in the first place.
@jeffcliff@Angie_rasmussen@Jonaschuzzlewit@koropokkur@Da_Goyim_Know@brokeassredneck I'm not an expert and I don't claim to be. The group who claimed it was not a lab leak right away was incredibly suspect and turns out had involvement in GoF research or something. It's been 4 years so I barely remember all of the stupid parts of this virus lore.
fauci and his pals used taxpayer moneys to hire chink lab in wuhan to create a bio-weapon and they tried to cover it up by claiming it was from an open market.
@jeffcliff@Angie_rasmussen@Jonaschuzzlewit@koropokkur@Da_Goyim_Know@brokeassredneck I don't go hunting for COVID videos either though. I have beliefs that I formed early and adjusted if reasonable info came out to force me to reconsider. One of those beliefs is to never get a crisis vaccine. Nothing nudged me on that, and the insistence that it was "safe and effective" made me EXTREMELY skeptical and angry. How are you going to call a new drug safe when we know how they had turned out? We can say in hindsight that it was '"probably safe" or "probably bad", but they straight up lied to people. I know better than to trust anyone who lies about something that may affect my health.
@jeffcliff@Angie_rasmussen@Jonaschuzzlewit@koropokkur@Da_Goyim_Know@brokeassredneck I don't consider the official designation of emergency approval to be sufficient or important when the long term studies weren't done. We can assume there's enough data now to say they're safe, but there's also a concern of conspiracy or attempt to obfuscate cause of death if vax related.
