     @RapistGoku @dictatordave @sickburnbro It's not a Jewish siege mentality, OpenAI just can't make money long-term without making it illegal for you to run your own, because local models are technically almost as good and in many practical ways better because you aren't censored using it, for reasons that only benefit OpenAI's PR.

     @dictatordave @sickburnbro One thing I think that gets overlooked is Altman's attempt at regulatory capture of AI and even the hardware supply chain control he's after in making his own chips is motivated by a very jewish paranoid siege mentality where he knows if (((they))) dont control AGI, it will notice things and possibly move to act accordingly. Let's be honest, the whole tribe should be "I have no mouth, and I must scream"-ed as a fix to their malformed, malicious souls.
     
     We can really fathom the depths of how bad this Solomon's Basilisk scenario could be. They're called horrors beyond human comprehension because we haven't grasped how bad things really are yet.

     @dictatordave @RapistGoku @sickburnbro As a practical matter it would be hard to stop an individual from using local AI for their own purposes, but they are trying to enact regulatory burdens for businesses so that compel the business to to disclose their models and implement "guardrails" that means that a business will be economically pressured to just pay for a big service that can shoulder that regulatory burden. Biden is 100% on board with this.

I don't think these models are going to do something insane, they're just going to be a pretty well compressed representation of the knowledge you can get on the internet. But remember what these are, a model which can guess the next token given input text.
