     @despair Did some computer work and got a fresh install of element. Tried to log in, bad password. Went to reset password, it sent an email verification, and it consistently fails to recognize that I clicked the link from the email. I tried this both on the client and through a web browser.

     in other shops, breakage of this severity is level II triage minimal, with a hotfix being issued live
