     If there isn't a lot of traffic one way a round about would be stupid, yes.
     
     But people put four way stops on those kind of intersections all the time anyway.

     too many retards who think more stopping and more slow = more safer
     congratulations you've given every driver on the road alert fatigue and thrown away the ability to warn drivers of a particularly dangerous intersection that warrants some extra caution when the previous 3000 stop signs just mean "slow down a little to look for cops"

     you have to slow down a lot to use them no matter what, which is annoying, when a normal intersection could have one direction continue without slowing down

     I used to deliver pizzas in a really busy area in the early 2000's, after they replaced the intersections with roundabouts it totally changed the traffic flow for the better.

     @skylar @PeachySummer @RedTechEngineer I use a 2-lane one to make a U-turn every morning (apartment has one way exit away from where I need to go) and have never had this issue. This is because everyone takes it too fast (myself included) so nobody is bold enough to sit in the right lane with someone next to him who could very well lose traction at any moment.

     folks would just crash when the car in the outside lane wants to go keep going around the loopy but the car in the inside lane wants to turn into the left lane of one of the exit roads
