     @piggo The stand didn't come free with the screen, as the cost of the stand was included in the screen price and the stand was made of proprietary materials.
     
     apple includes the stand price into the cost of the screen, then jacks the price up even higher, then doesn't even include the stand and sells it separately for a huge price and the isheep always eat it up.

     There is a $200 VESA mount, if you bring your own monitor arm. But the monitor itself comes with nothing except two cables.

     for 5 or 6 grand i'd expect way better than a 32" 6016x3384 60Hz IPS panel
     that's 60" 8K 240Hz curved ultrawide IPS or OLED panel money

     The mac pro from that video is also end-of-life I think. They still sell a cheese grater mac pro, but the internals are all M-series chips instead of x86. I'm not sure if any of the old Radeon cars will even work on it ... and it's still like $7k new.

     @icedquinn @kaia @piggo I imagine they wanted the aluminium at the back to be in contact with the backlight at the rear of the display for thermal reasons, as it has two stacked IPS panels to get the required contrast ratio for XDR and as such has an extremely bright backlight to shine through both of them and still achieve 1500nits of brightness.
