@PaulNickson @MaJ1 @Snowshadow @ravensrod @SteveClough @NormanDunbar @weirdfolks I feel that it may be both but caused by the algorithms the platforms use which are fueling the aggression we see far too often from otherwise decent people.

We are told to believe catch phrases. Meta/WhatsApp tells us there is 'end to end encryption on all messages. Sure but then its backed up onto theirs or a Google server which is unencrypted. Why don't more people use signal or matrix?
