ABC: The United States has privately advised Israel that if it decides to retaliate against Iran, it "will do so alone."

djsumdog (djsumdog@djsumdog.com)'s status on Tuesday, 16-Apr-2024 22:04:49 JST djsumdog eh, this is not a great take. I thought I had some other Scott Ritter clips saved off or used as references on my blog, but I can't seem to find any. I have feeling if I went back to older stuff of his, he'd be 80% wrong.
Netandyahoo would not be arrested/indited if/when he resigns. That's stupid. He's a king in the game of thrones. He came back to power and has tried to castrate the judicial system. He holds an immense amount of power and I don't see him going Saddam/Gaddafi in our lifetimes.
Ritter also says Oct 7th was a security failure. This is an equally dumb take. Israel either let it happen, or (more likely) had spies/agents pay off Hamas leadership to send their youth to die in the attack to justify the war. The Hannibal Protocol let them increase their death counts. Blaming Palestine for the attack is like blaming child soldiers. There are no adults left in Gaza. Just children (half the population is under 25) and corruption. All the smart ones took the money Israel offered in the 70s/80s and left for other countries.
There is some interesting information in here about basaltic missile defense, tactical information and technology. It's interesting, but I doubt his predictions will pan out. -

Iran launched 320 rockets and hit less than 10 targets.
Dude, they suck.

Moscow military expert Vladislav SHURIGIN:
More than 200 planes of the Israel Defense Forces and US naval aviation from the aircraft carrier, as well as the Israeli Iron Dome missile defense system, participated in repelling the attack. Despite these massive forces, some Iranian drones, cruise missiles, and almost all ballistic missiles have hit their intended targets.

In a message to Tehran, Washington asked Iran to allow Israel to carry out a demonstration attack in order to restore its image in domestic politics. Tehran has strongly rejected this offer.
