Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 21:46:11 JST Bread up, Bro The problem is that conservative minded people ( or a psyop directed towards them; whichever it is doesn't matter for this analysis )
are waking up to the fact that they might not be able to make peace with this system - they can't offer up enough consessions to get it to stop.
They are now fearing the fear of Brave New World and 1984 - the Total State which controls everything. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 21:54:45 JST Bread up, Bro While literature is useful what has happened in the real world is a better guide - the French and Russian Revolutions and the Spanish Civil War.
All tied together by the them of a Total State trying to enact total control over people.
Note that in 1984 the system actually let normal people be.
The one regime that did the most to change the views of normal people was the Soviet Union and their attempts to destroy Christianity. But even after killing tens of thousands of priests, the regime had lost most of their effective propaganda by the 30s. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 21:57:23 JST Bread up, Bro You might say, but Bro, now is different, they have such mass control over media.
While propaganda is a useful technique for running a total state, it's not the only - war is another way to have everyone on the same page.
You can see that after WW2, their propaganda fueled total state only made it about 40 years.
We've had total propaganda in the US since the 60s, with a relenting period in the late 70s for maybe a decade. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:00:21 JST Bread up, Bro What really has made the difference is that they learned from their mistakes in the USSR and focused on salami slicing, or "nudging" as they like to call it now ( and the one DEI dummy said just a week ago about the CHIPs act )
The main differences between the USSR and the US have been
1. the initial prosperity
2. the fact that they were able to slowly get people to commit to changes.
If you look at periods like forced integration, they almost lost everything - because they reached inflection points they couldn't salami slice.AlabasterBrick ?☠️ repeated this. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:03:50 JST Bread up, Bro We've now reached a point where there is no slicing left to be done on many fronts.
The major one is immigration. The chaos party has been pushed to their logical end point, which is that america is an idea, and there is no such thing as an illegal person, so if you get into america, you are american.
The problem is that there is no limit to the amount of global south people that want to come to the US, and the US is no longer a rich country, so this is not just a suicide pact, its like putting a shotgun in the mouth. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:10:44 JST Bread up, Bro This is what is leading to the panic in the democratic party
- telling you that the economy is great and you are insane that things are getting worse
- cutting programs to pay for illegals
- spending trillions per year to keep the circus going
- mayorkas starting to get thrown under the bus -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:17:18 JST Bread up, Bro So it is essential to take all these factors into context when determining what will happen.
First off - there are real hard limits to full bore propaganda. When the people in change of propaganda have grown up under propaganda, it leads to little room for nuance. You can see this with how liberals can't explain what conservatives believe.
Like a PA system on too loud, a small feedback can quickly overwhelm the signal.
You see this in fatigue of propaganda. The whole "there is no truth in Pravda" and the way "diversity is our strength" is now said with a droning tone. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:20:22 JST Bread up, Bro Secondly - systems that start with soft power usually have a hard time transitioning to hard power. In the soviet union, they used a mix from the beginning, but post WW2 had exhausted their capacity for hard.
The system is trying to avoid this by using agitatible groups as their enforcers, but this also is not new. As anger grows at those groups the system will then reach out to protect them and the hand in control is revealed. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:23:05 JST Bread up, Bro Thirdly - revolutionary groups work best in non-democratic systems where there is a easy power structure to target. In Spain they had to start targeting the church, and here, white people. This makes their crime messy and targets a lot of normal people in a way they can't avoid. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:34:06 JST Bread up, Bro What this means is essentially they have run out of known methods to re-establish control, so they will probably start testing a lot of things - louder propaganda ( probably going really hard on the 'wreckers' angle ), trying to guilt with patriotism, backing up on triumpialism goals like destroying statues.
But the only way to keep things afloat is reverse the economic pressure on people. The problem they have is that a ton of what they want has economic costs. They've been able to push those costs to the future previously. But as cities are slashing budgets to pay for immigrants we are seeing studies that those immigrants don't actually help finances ( as everyone here suspected ) -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:38:01 JST Bread up, Bro Beyond even this, there are their cultural desires like molesting kids and degeneracy.
Those have an economic cost, but not as their primary cost. This is the "bowling alone" category stuff.
As we are seeing with states making abortion illegal and restricting porn sites for kids, there has finally been enough traction with the overall decline where normal people are feeling unable to protect their families.
They used to be able to use moral high ground to cry about abortion, but with everything else, they don't have the manpower to direct action against this, and all their investment in trannies is coming to a loss, as well as the DEI stuff. -

Those that hate patriarchy mostly do so because they want an easier way to sexually abuse people, and their desire for communism is just a way to feed their libertinism. Which makes sense as an appetite for only the material is the core of communism. -

idea_enjoyer (idea_enjoyer@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:52:54 JST idea_enjoyer Your whole thread is great analysis of how the beast goes about trying to digest humanity.
I'm struck by how the preacher's prescription of getting right with God, though they no longer really know what that means, aligns with what Jesus said about the Pharisees, when He said listen to what they say but don't do what they do.
The only response to this is found in living right, but the beast makes it as hard as possible both to know what that means, and then to do it.Bread up, Bro likes this. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 22:57:56 JST Bread up, Bro @perfect_brains Yes, there are certainly people who wish to abuse others. You can call this "evil" or "mentally ill" at your choice.
Those that are abused often then wish to abuse in return, but many choose to amply abuse and there are more than a handful who abuse without having been abused. -

you are saying the the initial and controlling motivation by some people is to abuse others?

excid (excid@nicecrew.digital)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 23:05:15 JST excid The first goal of propaganda is not to change how you think, it is to keep you from thinking. They feed people the platitudes like "Love is love". Pretty soon everyone is happy to mouth the platitudes. They never think about the issues. The propaganda moves from one "area" such as female rights, to abortion, to homosexuality, to transexuality, to pedophilia, etc. Pretty soon the masses have quit thinking. -

EvilSandmich (evilsandmich@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 12-Apr-2024 23:10:15 JST EvilSandmich @sickburnbro Just to restate one of your points: soft power is cheap, hard power is expensive. Soft power is failing (as you detail) and a wide-spread implementation of hard power is unworkable in the GAE proper.
(China can be a decent example in this case as hard power there works only because 100 years (or more) of political chaos has made people very gun-shy about any anti-system talk in their (largely) mono-ethnic, highly capable country).Bread up, Bro likes this.
