The problem is that conservative minded people ( or a psyop directed towards them; whichever it is doesn't matter for this analysis )
are waking up to the fact that they might not be able to make peace with this system - they can't offer up enough consessions to get it to stop.

They are now fearing the fear of Brave New World and 1984 - the Total State which controls everything.
