What this means is essentially they have run out of known methods to re-establish control, so they will probably start testing a lot of things - louder propaganda ( probably going really hard on the 'wreckers' angle ), trying to guilt with patriotism, backing up on triumpialism goals like destroying statues.

But the only way to keep things afloat is reverse the economic pressure on people. The problem they have is that a ton of what they want has economic costs. They've been able to push those costs to the future previously. But as cities are slashing budgets to pay for immigrants we are seeing studies that those immigrants don't actually help finances ( as everyone here suspected )
