It might very well be a profitable company, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have risk. Right now, there's legislative risk because nonsense lawsuits against le ebil orangemin.

     There are probably a number of people in your country who want the war to end. Suspending elections means those people have no democratic agency.

     I work with a Ukrainian remotely who says he's afraid of getting picked up and conscripted. Are you telling me conscription of men isn't happening?

     If you're in the middle of a bad situation, you're more likely to never "wake up" because you're knee deep in the sunk cost fallacy. Same with people who got the vaccine and say all heart problems aren't from the shot. Or parents of trans kids who've given those children terrible drugs. They can't admit they made a mistake. You may still believe in your nation, but a lot of others have fled (including another co-worker of mine who took her family to Portugal when the war broke out).

     I'm sorry friend. I hope your nation makes a peace deal soon. I hope you're alright. But from out here, it doesn't look like you're in a democracy. It looks like the world has shifted its collective focus to Israel killing some brown people so they can take a gas field.

     the first link you've provided is a r*ssian website that is not legible at all. how do i know that? because r*ssians frequently were sending death threats to me personally talking about the fact that our president is "president", and our country is not Ukraine, but "404". the elections were suspended due to war. if you don't know what a war is, not my job to explain it. the real numbers will not be stated anywhere at any time until the war has ended. this point is non-legible.

     i am not saying that mobilisation isn't real. it is real, one of my two friends in Ukraine was mobilised, the other one volounteered. both of them are dead now as far as i know.
     
     we are in a democracy. it's just war. even though it wasn't declared as is, it still is a war. the war has it's own laws. there is no time to do elections, and it's a high risk anyways, as mass groups of people in one place frequently become a target for r*ssians. recalling Kramators'k and Mariupol' (Marijupil').
     
     dozens fled, yes. because nobody wants any kind of war. those who left are afraid for their families, and it is understandable. but it doesn't say that our nation is fascist or our government is bad. it is bad, with corruption and hierarchy, but it still keeps our homeland afloat coordinating the army and the people.
     
     i have lived in russia for many years. half my life to be precise, since i hit 18 years of age i moved to St. Petersburg. there i learned what russia and r*ssians are. uzurpers and nazis. i almosf became one of them, but the full-scale invasion stopped that process.
     
     it will take a full-on history lesson for me to explain how i detect r*ssian propaganda, or why i say "r*ussians" instead of "russians". it is more complicated than you or anyone else thinks.
     
     you have your freedom to think anything you want and believe anything you want, just don't label the whole nation "facists" after you've read maybe even a dozen articles on the internet.
     
     about your point of "waking up": i have awoken. long time ago. i see shit in every single human being, i see how they rot, but i am an anarchist and a pacifist, i value any life. i give no shit about who wins or loses, i just want my people to unite and fight against a common enemy that we have to protect our lives, our wifes, children, houses, etc.
     
     there is no point to argue, as i told you. this topic was argumented on to death already. most people now just want the massacre to end.
