So why is Hossina getting pics from tranny websites then?

I wasn't even aware this was a thing and it's very suspicious tbh.

I searched "lighters at a concert" and grabbed an image in the results.

You weren't aware that Googling images was a thing?

I just didn't know that you could get tranny alt text from an image you copy pasted.

I already know about that actually, I'm p sure it was graf that told me ppl were hiding cp in pictures of sinks or something. Not sure why xe was such an expert about that...

Y'know what, I didn't either. I'm glad we could all have this learning experience tonight.

You know what's crazy. I use to work at GettyImages on asset management (images, video, text). From this EXIF data, I know exactly what services this photo went through. I've worked on most of the services (all written in Scala) that handle this. The smaller version you cut and pasted comes off of a massive 50 VM thumnail cluster (thumbnails are ripped in Python .. usually .. sometimes it's Perl .. for .. reasons)

Whoops, confused stenography with stylometry. I don't know why I'm elaborating on another thing Bot could potentially become annoying about.

You fool. Why did you bring this up? Now everybody is going to get accused of being a graf alt 24/7.

@djsumdog @RustyCrab @trogdor @bot @kroner @Hoss > 50 VM thumnail cluster
Sounds gay, and they could make it even more gay by switching to Kubernetes

We were running DC/OS back then. They're probably on K8S now 😩 But the thumbnail cluster ran on its own.
The massive thumbnail cluster was pretty necessary. We were storing all the different buyable sizes in a cache cluster that took up a crazy amount of space (I want to say like 100s of TB). During a busy day we'd sell a few thousand news and sports photos a minute. Being able to rip them fast in real time was pretty important and massive freed up space on the storage arrays.

There was a whole team that went after people using images without license. I'm not sure how a lot of that stuff worked honestly. I think they worked more on reverse image search than metadata, but I never really asked. :blobcatshrug:

Just curious... anyone can run the images though exiftool to scrub the exif and metadata. Were there other measures in-place to track the images after the data was scrubbed?
