   Very cool to see that #Apple podcasts adopted this open standard for transcripts and supporting the #podcast20 spec for adding transcript info nto the Podcast RSS format...

   Have been driving these evolving open #podcast standards for a long while now, and glad to see Apple catching up and following their lead...

     @gabek Technically "Podcasting 2.0" was a whole host of extensions to the base podcast RSS feed, payments (not only Crypto payments) were part, but social identity, transcripts, and a ton more: https://podcasting2.org/podcast-namespace

     @tchambers Transcripts are awesome, but I thought “Podcast 2” was primarily about Crypto currencies? I sure hope Apple isn’t getting into that.

     @tchambers @gabek That's correct. Podcasting 2.0 is simply an RSS namespace with 2 dozen features (currently) in it. Micropayments is only one of those features. If you don't want micropayments just don't use that tag.
