@FourOh-LLC @Tadano @Sui @Silverwolf @BowsacNoodle @King_Noticer @givenup @Kirino @hazlin Yes now take the bit about crime out of your query. The word could be used that way if you're an ESL retard, but it is not the meaning of the word.

@FourOh-LLC @Tadano @Sui @Silverwolf @BowsacNoodle @King_Noticer @givenup @Kirino @hazlin Okay right, mystery solved. The fundamental problem here is you need power first, you can't do a bottom-up restructuring to make them behave. They don't want to behave and they make the rules.

Listen, lets not escalate this and start using insults.
I AM an ESL retard, and I am doing my best. OK, paramount is the wrong word. Is "consequential, escalating" better? If you know English please help me out.
Lets not change the context, all I was saying immutable storage serve a purpose to preserve evidence, and people who refuse to use it going to draw attention to themselves.
Of course I can be imprisoned, tortured, killed. That is not the point, it was never the point in this thread.

"Preserving something inherently unlawful necessitates further engagement in illegitimate actions." ChatGPT... dunno.
I do not promote the IPFS because I want "change". I promote it because I would like if people learned about it, and realize its purposes.
Change will come in its own time, or not at all.

That's how I feel about distributism. I want people to recognize that change is not the end but a means. Not trying to change the subject here, but I like that point.

"If the initial action is criminal, subsequent actions are bound to remain unlawful, and escalation becomes inevitable."

@FourOh-LLC @Tadano @Sui @Silverwolf @BowsacNoodle @King_Noticer @givenup @Kirino @hazlin Well, if it's inconvenient it won't be happening, and if it happens it won't be an inconvenience. It's the data equivalent of putting ridges on the edge of coins.

This is a really good way to sell IPFS and adjacent tech to our guys. Love it.

No, the fact that the IPFS is not on a blockchain is significant. The most significant difference is in its low-effort and low-cost deployment as compared to the blockchain.
Its also the first implementation of a technology that is capable to evolve, and should evolve into something more substantial.
I am not going to keep arguing with you about preserving political lies, garbage and shit is just as important than preserving stupid NFTs.

The IPFS is not a blockchain.

@FourOh-LLC @Tadano @Sui @Silverwolf @BowsacNoodle @King_Noticer @givenup @Kirino @hazlin It's a false sense of security because someone has to do the data entry in the first place, it doesn't just magically pop into existence on a blockchain.

@BowsacNoodle @FourOh-LLC @Tadano @Sui @Silverwolf @King_Noticer @givenup @Kirino @hazlin It's not doing a damn thing if the metal is adulterated in the first place. I'm leery of these things that give you a false sense of security. Why would you have a properly minted coin assayed, goy?

Content-based addressing is anything but a false-sense of security.
Granted, encryption strength has to keep up but automating re-encryption on the IPFS with a stronger cipher has no practical drawbacks.
Consequently, IPFS is the first concept of something still has the capacity to evolve.
