     @spiral_power @mona @WashedOutGundamPilot @boburtle I find it interesting that right at the birth of feminism the progressives outlawed prostitution. Before then it was pretty common in every major western city and frontier town. It was never enforced well, so it just became a way for criminals to get easy money and entrap otherwise respectable men, but after porn became legal we have a sort of pseudo-prostitution where lonely men don't actually get female contact but instead have way more toxic para-social relationships. And at least in the past there was a sharp dividing line between a respectable woman and a whore, but now there's a fuzzy gradient that can lead otherwise salvagable women astray. Maybe the early feminists wanted to cut off their competition so they could more easily control men with their lust, leading to a whole society of simps.

     @mona @WashedOutGundamPilot @boburtle although I don't think it would ever work in the west, I have this shadow of a thought that polygamy would alleviate this to some extent. I could be way off the reservation.
     
     Some girls would not tolerate it (jealousy) but those are the ones taking care of you anyway, so not really needed in that situation

     @mona @spiral_power @boburtle Yeah but most of the church weddings I attended in the years following high school broke up for that same religious disparity - Traditional kids would get married in their late teens/early 20s and divorce in 4 years when it became apparent one of them wanted to enjoy the worldly fun life - marriage was little more than the only approved way to move out of the house at that age

     Oddly most of the divorces in my greater circle were blamed on the men, a couple gays, a couple "bat matches", but strangely it was "he won't stop watching pornography!"

     Date for a few months, seem pretty into each-other, would make a good couple, etc.

     @mona This guy's painfully retarded, doesn't realize her "ex bestfriend" is trying to break them up to spite his GF. This is a hard lesson for you but you get it quick should you have a gf with enemy girls - I once had this girl in class coming on SUPER strong when I'd been dating this chick for a month or two. She found out what was up and warned me that she had crashed into that girl's car back in school and she still held a grudge over it.

     Everything makes more sense when you know that girls aren't friends the way guys are

He could probably leverage this to cement her devotion to him "yeah your bitch ex friend was making disparaging remarks about you, gosh I wish I could hit her"

Patriarchy fixed this by giving men higher social standing than women. This made even homely men at least tolerable to women. With feminism, men are placed below women, so it is even worse than it was in ooga booga caveman times.
