Any Peertube instance recommendations?
I made an intro video for myself as an ESL (Eng 2d Lang) teacher. Taught myself how to do basic video editing and added royalty free background music. Posted to YouTube, who, of course, says it's a copyright violation. I'd rather post on PT anyway, but need to set up an account.
Eventually, I may turn this into an ESL dedicated account.

I am exclusively on the consumer side of videos.
What is it exactly that you are asking?
From a marketing perspective, I guess you also need to be on the corporate site, YT.
Try appealing the decision, pointing them to the source where you acquired the songs. If not, use another source and rework the sound track (I know that sucks.)
I'd say you also need fun ones, not only "professional" ones. This, however, also depends on your target group.

I use libre.video which works fine for me.

It's dead easy. You open an account and start uploading whatever you like.
You have 1GB of storage (as far as I see it, this is rather generous for a peertube instance), which is not too much, but enough for a number of videos.
Right now, I have 16 videos online which take about 650MB, but for the most part, it is the 45 minutes video by Cory Doctorow, which I will take down, if needed.

I'm appealing and gave them the links to the exact song I used in the appeal, but they still rejected it. The decision came so fast that I'm sure they didn't check the info I provided, so I don't want to stay there.
If I can figure out Blender (and have time) I'm considering making an English educational channel.

I'm sorry to hear about YT.
The problem, as always, is that you need an audience.
When it comes to commercialization, the corporate sites are second to none, alas. (Just look at my pinned post about Meta...)
While I see a lot of merit hosting your content on #PeerTube, I'd say you will still need to draw attention to your educational channel.
Having varied distribution channels is just a safe business practice.
And, last but not least, I've seen so many instances collapse in 1y.

For now, I just need a host for this intro video, so I can find a better job.
I've spent at least a couple hours looking through instances, and am flummoxed.
I've applied for an account on one, but will go apply at the libre instance too.
