I'm sorry to hear about YT.
The problem, as always, is that you need an audience.
When it comes to commercialization, the corporate sites are second to none, alas. (Just look at my pinned post about Meta...)
While I see a lot of merit hosting your content on #PeerTube, I'd say you will still need to draw attention to your educational channel.
Having varied distribution channels is just a safe business practice.
And, last but not least, I've seen so many instances collapse in 1y.
