   I won't go into details because they aren't mine to share, but a fash publication dropped dox (real name, location, years of internet history) on an antifascist member of the #fediverse today, based in large part on their activity on @kolektiva dot social and elsewhere on #Mastodon.

   Just a reminder that the enemy is aware that we are gathered here and is watching us, and as we head into these dangerous times it's important to remember that. Think twice before posting anything here you wouldn't want linked to you in a court of law, for example. #SocialMedia #fascism #antifa #SecurityCulture #feditips

     @kitoconnell @kolektiva Wise words. I was published on "Redwatch" about twenty years ago and have just continued to exist in the open since then (it's even been helpful for me personally in some ways when I had so much light on me continuously), but regardless of that I'd really recommend fellow radical folks operate under the radar as much as possible for as long as possible.

     Yeah, I never thought at one point - hey, my rampant jackassery online will have serious consequences until like 2020, but there is so much out of the bag, I like to think myself more like a buoy - if I am not reporting in because I got made or pinched or whatever, you know things are getting tighter.

     And did grow ethically and morally and learned to finesse a little bit better and cut the crap better, but...ya know...some of the cat is out of the bag.
