Between the choice of atheistic libtard and traditional Muslim, I'd rather the latter for my neighbor. At least we could BS about our shared disdain for liberalism and the abominations it has created. My reason for disliking Islam is purely religious disagreement.

Any organization needs to set the boundaries of behaviour for its members, if it ever wants to achieve any of its goals, you have a company, you should know that. Keep your vague definitions to yourself, that definition applies to literally any nation with laws.

@BowsacNoodle @FourOh-LLC @milk Thats completely understandable and healthy, thing with liberalism is that the only conclusion to the idea is freedom from everything, including morality, why would I want that in a neighbor yknow.
Ideally, Muslims live in their seperate nations, and not in mixed secular nations, which is the weakest form of nation anyway. So Im with you on that as well, putting aside the vague idea of the "west".

@Niloy005 @FourOh-LLC @milk The word "Nation" shares it's root with the Greek "ethnos" in traditional writings. You can't have a multicultural nation by definition. I'm being prescriptivist, but worth mentioning since we are in agreement that it's best to not share a country.

When people refer to "the West", they're basically saying "traditionally Christian, White European places". The liberalism aspect is new and it's rather unfortunate. The American sphere of influence includes Korea and Israel and Japan, but they're not The West in the sense I'm referring to.

Life is more complicated than simple agreement over core beliefs. The fact that said beliefs exist and were shared and understood enough to allow for disagreements in their minutiae speaks to the greater shared cultural identity of The West as much as it may seem odd to an outsider.

@BowsacNoodle wouldnt you say, north africa, southern europe, the levant and a chunk of central asia are also the west? I mean the western ideal itself is pretty knew and liberal, I dont live in the west so you know a lot more than me, but europe alone was so divided despite being christian.
IDK, i just feel division along denominations seem more sustainable than the west or east.
