@lunarised@eris@p@p I don't know, this Eris is now claiming I responded with a bunch of slurs. I gotta figure out how to stop being fascinating to lunatics, man.
Many such cases. I mean, the first time FSE got instance-blocked by them, it was because allegedly @PonyPanda was doing something that bothered them, so Eris demands I ban him. I asked what it was that he was doing, and got no answer, just a bunch of screaming about how FSE was "not protecting trans people".
>it was because allegedly @PonyPanda was doing something that bothered them lmao What did they get upset with pony? Was it him sharing his fetish or him calling himself a "fat slut"?
@NonPlayableClown@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@lunarised I still do not even know what the problem was, I got my head bitten off just for asking. I saw him only post one question about what "xenofeminism" meant, and it was phrased in a neutral way. Based on the amount of shit I see people make up around fedi, I don't do anything until I know exactly what is going on and I am sure what I ought to do. Since I have seen Eris make shit up about me personally and lie about events that I was present for, it seems like "Don't do anything until you're sure" was prudent.
Some time after that, Eris blamed me for Snow's "trannylist", and described it as a "hit list". I didn't make the list up, I banned the only account that posted it. (Snow was running around, posting that list, and then reporting the sites to domain registrars and hosting companies, so it was a good idea to stop that list from getting posted.) I said "This looks like Snow" (Snow had done this kind of thing before, like the "trans HIV" accounts and the swastika accounts and whatnot), then I found Snow posting about creating it, Eris said that a list created by someone that had been banned from FSE was still basically FSE's fault.
I wish Eris and Snow would bother each other and leave me out of it, but they both announced they were QUITTING LIVEJOURNAL FOREVER and then one of them came back.
@PonyPanda@eris@lunarised@p@p We're both from LA, and LA is a much more chill place. It's one of the only cities on earth where all the songs are about how much the writer hates LA. New York, they have to write songs about how much they love it, otherwise they'd be too demoralized to live there: the smell alone would drive them all out.
Maybe Eris is a transplant or lives in one of the honkey zones where wild Karens roam the streets. 09--postcard_from_l.a..mp3
@lunarised@IAMAL_PHARIUS@PonyPanda@eris@p@p I tried to find an image of Strongbad being dismayed when he pressed the wrong button and compy386 reported that the email had been "Saved forever" but image search only gave me a shit-ton of images from people's blogs or from youtube about people discussing Calvinism.
@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@p@lunarised he should be more afraid of the chance of seeing me than of seeing you. I’m like 100x scarier because I’m just a little girl.
@marine@p@PonyPanda@p@p@lunarised his response used to be "nooo we'd never ban you we believe in le free speech!!! It must be you banning us!!!"
And now that disq has no bans aside from pedos and spam, he can't double down on that any longer and is back to "noooooo it's because um, you're bad!!! Free speech is only allowed for who I morally agree with!!"
@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@p@lunarised does he lie about it? I thought he made it clear before he does it because he thinks you’re deranged (paraphrased from posts I’ve seen the past few days)
@marine@eris@PonyPanda@lunarised@p@p My hair's doin' a weird thing today, I gotta buzz it off. Other than that, sure, everyone on fedi come show up at my house, whatever.
@p@eris@p@marine@PonyPanda@p@lunarised LA and New York are similar in that both are extremely corrosive to ones soul and a horrific shit pile. I love both of them. If you can't have fun in those towns you have no pulse.
@p@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@lunarised I like you well enough, but you live in LA, a city I have zero desire to ever step foot in. Which is also in a state I have zero desire to ever step foot in.
@marine@PonyPanda@eris@lunarised@p@p No, I've been to New York and it's completely uninhabitable. Smells like garbage *outside* in the winter. That takes some doing.
LA is a delight. The people that say things like you have just said about my hometown (AHEM) tend to fall into one of two categories: people that have never been to Los Angeles, and people that showed up and stayed in Hollywood and then washed up in Santa Monica and then left.
It is fine with me if you keep making this insistence, though: too many shitty transplants show up and stay a few years and leave, but the problem is that they vote while they're here.
@marine@p@PonyPanda@p@p@lunarised people are moving all over rn tbh. Denver and Seattle and San Diego and so many other cities are just as expensive as LA, some more so. People move to like Austin and Phoenix and now those are getting expensive too so they'll move somewhere else
Might as well just go wherever you're comfortable and not care where everyone else goes.
@p@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@lunarised I’ve had the displeasure of living around enough California transplants, particularly from LA and seen how they voted and changed my hometown. I do not like it in any way. Honestly, the fact that they’re leaving and running across the country should tell you what you need to know.
I am not defending New York in any way because I arguably do believe in some sense, it is currently shittier, but LA is not much better.
I told Eris that I'd post this whenever she lied about this in public and here it is and I do not have anything further to say on the topic: eris_has_a_question.png
@eris@p@PonyPanda@p@p@lunarised it’s not just the money shit tho. it’s also the terrible political consequences they bring with them. No, actually, I don’t want to have to “accept” leftist politics in order to live in a place. Period.
more like you have to accept trannyism despite the fact that most trannies insist on referring to themselves as “trans x” rather than just what they identify as. you have to accept people teaching your third grader about anal sex. etc, etc.
At any rate, your source of information about Los Angeles is lying, or they are doing exactly what you are doing: repeating made-up shit they heard from the internet. That is fine, we have too many fuckin' people here, but you could at least understand that what you are doing is retarded.
Basically, shit-tier Chinese in Manhattan cost more than good Chinese in LA, and the 16oz Red Bull was $8, a pack of smokes was $20-25. The kebab guy I went to was all right, like slightly pricey but it was good, but every place had coffee and nowhere had milk, only creamer, not even cream. First guy I tried to buy coffee from was like "You want mate?" and I asked what he meant and he waggled a container of CoffeeMate at me and I asked for milk and after that I made a point of asking for milk every time I bought coffee. (It was like being in the South and trying to get tea, they only have that disgusting hypersaturated sugar tea.)
> CCP cops standing around watching guys get in your face trying to sell you dumplings, clothes, elephant tusk dick pills, pussy.
That didn't happen to me. I asked a cop that was standing around on a corner for directions and he told me he didn't speak English. Some Puerto Rican guy followed me half a block to try to get me to smoke weed and I kept telling him to fuck off and then he found some girl sleeping on the sidewalk and he asked her to go smoke weed with him and she said she only smokes crack and then he waves his hands in the air and complains that no one in the city smokes weed.
> $10 for shady meals where you gotta point at the menu.
@p@eris@p@marine@PonyPanda@p@lunarised costs in each city are about the same I was surprised at how expensive even cheap joints in LA were. Also pleasantly confused by their love of pastrami
But to burn things up in LA you kinda have to know where to go, everything is so spread out
In NY everything is in your face and you can safely get fucked up without worrying about a car because lmao subway. Last time I really cut loose there i was staying in the downtown flushing queens Sheraton. 8x12 room and you step out into probably the wildest Chinatown in the US, way more than la or sf. CCP cops standing around watching guys get in your face trying to sell you dumplings, clothes, elephant tusk dick pills, pussy. $10 for shady meals where you gotta point at the menu. Good times
>and then he found some girl sleeping on the sidewalk and he asked her to go smoke weed with him and she said she only smokes crack and then he waves his hands in the air and complains that no one in the city smokes weed. Weed smokers: The incels of druggies.
Weed is really popular, I think. I can't function on the stuff but people seem to enjoy it. This guy had no luck finding someone to smoke weed with him but I don't know why he needed someone and he couldn't just smoke his weed. It was the middle of the night in the winter, I don't know who he expected to find outside.
@p@eris@p@marine@PonyPanda@p@lunarised Manhattan is like a Hollywood equivalent. Tourists go there, and there's the added factor of various finance "people" there. A million assholes there hustling trying to scam other assholes out of money. Personally flushing and Elmhurst neighborhoods in Queens are what I like. Cheaper and less hustling because hell, if you had money to steal why are you in Queens?
Well, that makes sense. I kept hearing they had the best Chinese food, I was complaining the food in Brooklyn sucks. (Everything in Brooklyn sucks and I don't think I have ever seen that many women with moustaches.)
> finance "people"
They were eating Chinese and talking some shit that made me wish they were not in the restaurant.
> Cheaper and less hustling because hell, if you had money to steal why are you in Queens?
Ha, sounds like South Central. I don't mind South Central, like I wouldn't wanna live there any more but I used to run around there a lot, and the food's good. (It is also the only place in LA where someone I know was held at gunpoint, though.)
@p@eris@p@marine@PonyPanda@Paultron@p@lunarised >la,ny One used to be better (la) before the one from the place that always sucked (ny) came and transplanted in the gen pop. Now sf i don't think has ever been that good :alex_lol:
