   I rechecked the interoperation of Libranet.de (a Friendica instance) and Pixelfed.de, and succeeded.

   My impression is that this particular Pixelfed instance often times out on data exchange (fetching),because I observe difficulties in outgoing connections from Pixelfed.de to numerous accounts on other Fediverse instances via ActivityPub.

   The issue may even be related to daytime Fediverse traffic in Central Europe. (It's ~01:30 AM CET now.)
