     That "port" is a 8P8C jack.
     
     RJ45S is a slotted variant of the 8P8C jack that nobody uses anymore, but of course it's typical for people to get both name and type of jack wrong.
     
     I would like to get my hands on a device with a RJ45S port and also a cable with a keyed 8P2C modular plug, to hand to people when they refer to "RJ45", but I haven't seen any of such devices.

     @nixCraft The VGA port on this 13-yo Toshiba laptop is still going strong! I had to add an HDMI converter (which horks a USB port to power it) for the new big screen, but it works! Oh, and I despise HDMI. If that makes me a Luddite, then so be it. 😀
