It's that time once again fediverse. Back in October of 2022 I was hella depressed and looking for something to occupy my mind. So I installed Mixxx on my little arm board and made a Drum and Bass mix (it kind of sucked). One year later and I've come full circle with this thing. Soundcloud link soon.

  If people only knew just how Jewish DJ software and hardware companies are they would appreciate Mixxx more.
  
  Serato and Virtual DJ kinda rip people off and I heard Pioneer does things that would make Richard Stallman call for violence. Like making you purchase a license to connect their decks or they dont work bs (havent verified that is true, but would be surprised knowing that industry).

  My boards are supported out of the box, I didn't have to do shit, and my future, more professional setup is in line with the Mixxx hardware guide on github

  Controller mapping is done in JSON format, you don't write a driver. That is if the mixing board uses the open HID protocol for comm with the software over a proprietary one.

  Do you know if it is now possible to get the DDJ-T1 to work on Linux? I have one collecting dust, not used for ~8 years as I no longer have the Mac that once was connected to it, and back then there was no chance to make it useful on Linux.
