I've noticed that people of my generation or later will sometimes speak of a cis person of known gender as 'they' in casual conversation. Idk what that's about.

I use "they" by default for everyone, unless I know they prefer other pronouns.I'm a cis person of known gender myself.

Mostly I just don't mention my gender unless I think it's relevant.It seems pretty relevant to discussions of a sense of inherent gender, and to cis people using they pronouns, so. 😊
