@lookitmychicken whoa, you were so close!!!

@lookitmychicken this script would be a good basis! https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/467885-w4tchdoge-s-ao3-bookmark-maker

Actually, i installed it ages ago and now i took a look at it to share with you, i see it's had a lot of updates and would probably do more stuff than i use it for :)

@annarchism oh, I haven't! Thank you, I'll check it out :D :D

@lookitmychicken ohh, I'm torn on this one—on the one hand I desperately want to watch it on a big screen, and it would be fun to make my Yibo-hater Mandarin teacher watch it, but on the other I feel like it might be too thematically dark for a general group. 😕 Ideally I want something fun that we can all chat about at the pub afterwards, I think.

Maybe I'll get a smaller group together and do a Hidden Blade showing another time!

📽️ 🎞️ Open question: if I book a cinema screen to watch a film with all my friends for my birthday this year, what should it be?

I'd like it to be a Chinese movie, that I haven't seen on a big screen, that a general (nerdy) audience will enjoy even if they're not super into Chinese culture.

It should also be something I can download or get a DVD of, with EN and/or DE subtitles, but that's an implementation detail. :)

@lookitmychicken my friend here is super into ZB1 and specifically Matthew, so I had already heard this from her a series of breaking news bulletins, haha. I'm glad they're staying together and continuing, at least the five of them! It always seemed so mean to me that they had a two-year limit on their contract and no guarantees anything would continue after that.

@lookitmychicken Wooooow, you look fabulous! Love all of this!

Would you believe me if I told you I found an abandoned inn, with a mysterious martial arts scroll inside it?

@lookitmychicken okay, that’s fair, but (a) you should see my beautifully organised ebook and PDF library, how many hours I’ve spent on it, and just how many books/papers I still have to categorise; (b) somehow I’m at school in China right now? Because in 2020 I wanted to watch a cute queer show with my girlfriend? 😅 idk how this happened 🤓

@lookitmychicken there are at least two of us 😅😳😖

Okay, it took me all evening but I have also made a list of 100 films I’ve seen! Some of these are perfect, some are very imperfect, but they all made an impression on me.

(Are we still doing this?)

@lookitmychicken That’s Not My Name by the Ting Tings, Toxic by Britney Spears, and some other classics 😄

We had a booth for five people, so I didn’t have to sing in front of strangers! It all felt very modern, too—you could order drinks and sushi via QR code

@lookitmychicken I did! Not to any K-pop, though. 😅 And I was super rusty. Really need to practice more!

@lookitmychicken I went to karaoke at the weekend for my friend’s birthday, and when the first Stray Kids song came on I thought of you! ❤️

Also found out that my friend can rap in Korean, which was an eye-opener
